Delete Your Kedara Account

You can delete your Kedara account and personal information at any time.

Delete in the app

1. Sign in to the Kedara App.
2. Go to Profile > Delete Account.
3. Review what will be deleted, then confirm.

Your account then enters a 7-day grace period. During this time you cannot use the app, and you can cancel the deletion. After the grace period, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Kedara will email you when your account has been deleted, within 7 business days of the end of the grace period.

Delete without the app

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask for your account to be deleted. Kedara will verify your identity and then follow the same process.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile.
• The care information you added about yourself.
• Any care group where you are the only manager or the last remaining member.

What may remain

• Shared care records. Records you added about other people in a care group may remain available to that group so their care history is preserved. They will no longer be linked to you.
• Legal and security records. Kedara keeps a minimal record that your account existed and was deleted, for security and fraud prevention. Kedara also keeps any records the law requires, only for as long as required.
• Backups. Copies in backups are deleted within 30 days.

Change your mind

Within the 7-day grace period, sign in and select Keep my account. If you requested deletion by email, reply to that email before the grace period ends. You may be asked to verify your identity.
